From what I have seen of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in the past and the latest movie preview, it looks like a refreshingly intelligent and satirical alternative sci-fi movie, one which I will welcome with relief after the overdone Star Trek and Star Wars themes the industry has been bombarded by.
I haven't seen much of the television series, but i did get to see Red Dwarf for one season, and I like the satirical angle much. Don't know the technical details, but it looks like a combination of the talents from Red Dwarf and Lexx. Btw, Lexx was excellent, for the one year of sci-fi channel I managed to enjoy before being cut off by greedy Comcast. | ||

| Now that the movie has officially been released this would better fit under films where I already have made a comment.-shagbark | ||
